| Greg and I are coming to Champaign, we will be there next Tuesday, the 16th through the evening of Wednesday the 17th. Hope to see as many of you as we can! | | |
| Greg and I returned to K.C. from a week of traveling for Christmas. We'll spend one more week in K.C. before more travels! We're spending most of January traveling all over Missouri and Illinois to see friends and family before we go to Richmond, Virginia for eight weeks of orientation - and then we'll be leaving the country. Hopefully we'll get a chance to see everyone! We don't know our exact schedule yet - we're waiting for the packing company to give us a date of when they can take our things. As soon as we know when and where we'll be, I'll let everyone know. | | |
| Now that Greg and I have an appointment date with the IMB I've told my employer that my last day of work will be Jan 5th, 2007. It's exciting to have an end date, kind of sad to be leaving my co-workers - they are some great people. But unfortunatly, I've started to devlop a bad attitude at work. I know I'm leaving soon, and so I tend to not always put forth the effort that I should. | | |
| The IMB trustee's subcommittee voted today and approved us for missions! So Greg and I are now set to go to California the end of January for our appointment ceremony. Then off to Richmond, VA in February for an 8-week orientation, and then off to Prague, Czech Republic in April sometime, hopefully! | | |
| Last weekend Greg and I moved off of the Seminary campus and into a house. Now we have lots of room! We've gotten quite a bit unpacked, but there's still a lot of boxes to go through - trying to figure out what to unpack and what not to. It's much nicer having a whole house to ourselves, and I'll be really glad when we have the garage cleaned out so we can keep the cars in there during winter - I hate scraping the windows, and they're already predicting a light frosting later this week! | | |
